About the Role:
This role blends event execution, local sales hustle, and creative brand building. As our Market Development Manager, you'll be our on-the-ground presence, sparking local awareness, building relationships, and helping De Soi show up in all the right places.
Field Marketing & Events (60%)
- Own local brand activations; from creative concepting to execution (including sampling events, wellness pop-ups, run clubs, restaurant takeovers, and cultural moments)
- Identify and pitch strategic partnerships with fitness studios, social clubs, cafés, and restaurants
- Coordinate and staff demos at retail locations and events to drive trial and conversion
- Track and analyze event ROI, sample-to-sale data, and community engagement metrics
- Manage local event calendar and logistics (permits, supplies, staffing, recaps)
Local Sales & Account Management (40%)
- Build relationships with independent retailers, bottle shops, bars, and cafés to increase De Soi placement and visibility
- Act as an on-the-ground sales rep: pitching new accounts, handling reorders, merchandising, and ensuring proper staff education
- Collaborate with our distributor partners where applicable to drive velocity and support key accounts
- Visit key retail stores regularly to ensure brand standards, build relationships, and spot new opportunities
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in field marketing, brand ambassador work, or on/off-premise sales (CPG, bev-alc, or wellness a plus)
- Entrepreneurial and scrappy; you don’t wait to be told, you just make it happen
- Excellent communicator, relationship-builder, and energizer in social settings
- You’re obsessed with culture; from wellness to food to social media and know where our consumer hangs out IRL
- Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and travel locally as needed
- Bonus: experience with independent account sales and/or distributor management
